Burton Custom

The Burton Custom Snowboard was one of Burton’s first original freestyle and FreeRide snowboards released in 1995.  This is a snowboard that can be used in all terrains and lets you shred up the park, pipe, rails, trees or just ripping down the hill.  Many riders will tell you that the Burton Custom is the type of ride that allows them to bring their own style to the mountain each and everyday.

The Burton Custom is the board that all other snowboard companies try to emulate, and once you ride one you will see why.  The construction  features some of the top technology and product ingredients on the market, include a snappy yet solid wood core, ultra-light carbon backbone, super durable base, and 10:45 slimewalls.  So overall this construction of this board is not only made to be durable, but it is also constructed to take you riding to the next level

Features of the Burton Custom:

The Channel  – A channel down the middle of your board that allows you to set up your bindings in the stance that your prefer.

Dualzone EDG – Burton places the wood grain along the toe and heel edges perpendicular to the wood core.

Negative Core Profile – The placement of thinner sections of the core between the bindings for a softer flex and torsion

Super Fly II Core – This is all about placing stronger and lighter pieces of wood to the core to give you more strength and snap and keep the weight fog the board down.

Carbon I-Beam – An ulta-light carbon backbone to give you more pop.

Lightning Bolts – Transfer lines form “The Channel” to the edges, allowing you to make effortless transitions

Train Response Fiberglass – Gives you that versatile flex and response needed for riding all conditions.

Sintered N20 WFO Base – Highly durable, Super fast based… all about low maintenance.

Directional Shape – Your classic twin tip

Pro-Tip – All about playing with the tapering and thickness of the board through the Tip and Tail to reduce swing weight and create more flex.

10:45 Sidewalls – This is all about reducing the impact on riders who like to go hard.

Overall if you have never rode a Burton Custom you have to test one out.  There are a few different version of the Custom.
